Booking a room

• I do not have a credit card, how can I book through your website?
→ Credit cards are required when booking through our website. An alternative option is to pay via bank transfer/ invoice. Please email us at sleep@druum.be and we will make the reservation for you.

• How can I change the date of my booking on your website?
→ One date change is allowed for free (not if within 72 hours). To request a date change, please send us an email at sleep@druum.be.

• What is the cancellation policy?
→ Enjoy the flexibility of our cancellation policy: you can cancel your reservation for free up to 3 days (72 hours) before your check-in date. However, if you cancel within 72 hours of your check-in date, the entire stay will be charged. Guests may be eligible for partial reimbursement or free cancellation if their room(s) are rebooked by other guests for the same dates.

• I came to Brussels for work, can I get an invoice for my stay?
→ Yes, mention it to our staff during your stay or send us an email at sleep@druum.be.

Check-In and Check-Out

• What is the earliest time I can check-in?
→ Our check-in time starts at 15:00 and you can enter anytime after that, even at later hours. It is a self check-in, all information is send automatically to your email provided with the reservation.

• What is the latest time I can check-out?
→ Our standard check-out time is at 11:00. However, the latest time you can check out depends on what time the next guest arrives. If possible, it costs 15 € for an extension with the latest departure at 12:30.

• Can I leave my luggage at the premises before the check-in or after the check-out?
→ Yes, you may leave your luggage (without valuables) with us for free.

Facilities and Rooms

• Is there a kitchen where I can eat during my stay?
→ Yes, there is a common kitchen in the building where you may enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the afternoon and eat your dinner. Please, do clean up everything after leaving the kitchen.

• Is there an elevator in the building? Are the rooms accessible to people with reduced mobility?
→ Unfortunately, there is no elevator / lift in our building and to get to the rooms, a guest will have to walk up at least a flight of stairs.

• What amenities are provided inside the rooms?
→ We provide shampoo and body wash, towels, a hairdryer, and bedsheets inside each room.

• Can I add an extra bed in a double room that I have booked?
→ Yes, the extra bed is ideal for adolescents and is only possible for the rooms Matthieu Manche and Aurore Brun, where there is more space.

• Can I add a baby crib in my room?
→ Yes, you may add a crib in your room given it is not yet reserved by another guest. Let us know whether you need one when making your reservation.

•Why is there no TV in the room?
→ Because we want the guest to focus on the artistic atmosphere of DRUUM. Just as if you were sleeping in an art gallery!

• Is my pet or service animal allowed?
→ Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the rooms of DRUUM.

• Can I smoke in the room?
→ No, you are not allowed to smoke in the room but you can do so in the garden or outside the building.

Parking

•Do you have a parking lot?
→ Yes, we have a private and secure parking area for our guests. It is best to reserve a place due to the limited number of spaces. Vehicles under the following dimensions can access our car park: height 2,50 m x length 2,20 m.
Cars/ minivan: 20 € per 24 hours; 3-4 spaces available
Motorcycle: 10 € per 24 hours; 1-2 spaces available

• I reserved a parking space. Can I use the park earlier than the check-in time?
→ Ideally, you can use the parking lot from 15:00. Please check with us if you’d like to use it earlier.

• Can I leave my car in the parking after my check-out?
→ it depends on availability of spaces for the next arriving guests. Please check with our breakfast staff to know if it is possible. Extension beyond 24 hours costs at least 10€.

• I have a bicycle, is there a safe place to park it?
→ Yes, you can park your bicycle in our courtyard, use your own lock to secure it. We are not responsible for theft.

Breakfast

• What time can I have breakfast?
→ Breakfast is served between 8:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and between 8:30 to 10:30 on weekends. Breakfast at an earlier time may be possible if discussed with us in advance.

• What kind of food is typically served at breakfast?
→ A typical Belgian breakfast with local gourmandises awaits you: freshly baked croissants and pains au chocolat, fruits, bread, coffee, tea, jams, cheeses, ham, cereals, and fried eggs. Depending on the day, sometimes there can also be french toast, homemade pancakes, bread pudding, crêpes…

• Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, lactose or gluten-free options at breakfast?
→ Yes, we offer vegan or gluten-free options for breakfast, such as soy milk, gluten-free bread, … It is best to advise us of any dietary restrictions so we can prepare in advance.
